This website is run by me, Leon Staufer, from the United Kingdom. You can reach me, including with a question about your privacy or a request concerning your data, via email at leon@staufer.me.

Privacy

I collect as little information as possible. This website uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Hosting: The site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
Analytics: I use Umami Cloud, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used and improve it. It records pages visited, referrers, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type. Umami uses no cookies or cross-site identifiers; it creates anonymous session identifiers from technical data. I rely on my legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the site and keep analytics for no longer than 12 months. See Umami’s privacy policy.
Email and feedback: If you email me or submit the linked Google feedback form, I receive the information you choose to provide and use it only to read and respond to your message. Google processes form submissions on my behalf. I keep messages only for as long as they remain useful or necessary.
Calendar bookings: Cal.com is linked as an external website and receives nothing from this site unless you follow the link. If you book a meeting, Cal.com shares the contact and booking details you provide with me so I can arrange the meeting. I rely on my legitimate interest in arranging meetings that people request. See Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Newsletter: Substack is linked as an external website and receives nothing from this site unless you follow the link. If you subscribe, I can access your email address, subscription details and basic engagement information to operate the newsletter. I rely on your consent, which you can withdraw by unsubscribing at any time. See Substack’s privacy policy.

GitHub, Cal.com, Substack and Google may process information outside the UK or EEA using the safeguards described in their privacy policies. I do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Under UK and EU data-protection laws you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, object to its use, or request portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact me at leon@staufer.me.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or, if applicable, your local EEA data-protection authority.
